Family Activities in June!

 Join us next month for some family activities for kids of all ages starting Wednesday, June 8! We will also have our Summer Reading Club kicking into full swing with registrations starting on June 1. 

Activities will continue in July with an updated schedule that will be posted ahead of time. Please check back later for more details and stay cool with the library this summer!

Teen Hangout for the Summer!

Join us for Teen Hangout during the 2023 Summer Reading Club! Throughout June and July we will host special activities in celebration of this year's Summer Reading theme, "All Together Now," each Thursday at 4:30 pm for tweens and teens. 

 

Adult Coloring Club

Join us for our new Adult Coloring Club each Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm. Materials are provided free of charge! 

Easy Earth Day Lava Lamp

On April 21 we celebrated Earth Day at the library branch with a special celebration for families that included an easy-to-make lava lamp using an empty water bottle, vegetable oil, food coloring and effervescent tablets.

Watch the video above to find out how to make this at home with simple supplies. It's a good example of "upcycling" or re-purposing an empty water bottle, and you can keep repeating the reaction indefinitely with more effervescent tablets!

Family Earth Day Celebration!

Join us for our Family Earth Day Celebration! All ages welcomed. We will have crafts, snacks and an easy science activity demonstration to celebrate our wonderful home.

 

The Easter Bunny Visits the Library!

Join us for a very special visit from the Easter Bunny! Free goodie bags (while supplies last) will be distributed after a quick Easter Bunny story is read aloud.
