Easy Earth Day Lava Lamp

On April 21 we celebrated Earth Day at the library branch with a special celebration for families that included an easy-to-make lava lamp using an empty water bottle, vegetable oil, food coloring and effervescent tablets.

Watch the video above to find out how to make this at home with simple supplies. It's a good example of "upcycling" or re-purposing an empty water bottle, and you can keep repeating the reaction indefinitely with more effervescent tablets!

Family Earth Day Celebration!

Join us for our Family Earth Day Celebration! All ages welcomed. We will have crafts, snacks and an easy science activity demonstration to celebrate our wonderful home.

 

The Easter Bunny Visits the Library!

Join us for a very special visit from the Easter Bunny! Free goodie bags (while supplies last) will be distributed after a quick Easter Bunny story is read aloud.
 

We will resume regular hours of operation on Saturday, April 1 at 10 am.

 

Spring Break Activities for the Family!

 

Join us during Spring Break for some free family activities for kids! We will also continue hosting our year-round storytime schedule on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 am.
